Find us at the Handmade Markets with BrisStyle

It's been twelve years since our last in person market and a lot has changed since then. Not only are market displays much more epic than ever before, card payments are the norm and I'm really glad about that. Carrying cash sucks! Let alone making change with someone watching *yeah, maths and I aren't great friends*

For comparison's sakes, here is the shocking photographic evidence of our last market, way back in 2012 at Greazefest.  YIKES. How was it ever ok to just pile your products on the table like that? In my defense, we all did it like that. Simpler times.

Here's some important information pulled from the host, BrisStyle to help plan your day.

VISITOR INFORMATION:

The event is FREE. For further information to visit the museum click HERE

Disability Access: The Queensland Museum and Surrounds is a fully accessible site

ATM / Cash Facilities: Whilst many stallholders will be accepting card based transactions, we recommend you also bring cash to avoid disappointment.  There are several ATM’s nearby.

Toilets: The closest public toilets to the event are located outside the State Library in the Knowledge walk.

GETTING TO THE MUSEUM:

Queensland Museum South Bank is located on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, within the South Bank Cultural Precinct.

By bus - Set down in Grey Street outside ENERGEX Playasaurus Place, Stanley Street Tunnel or Stanley Place.

By train - Get off at South Brisbane station and cross the road at the Grey and Melbourne Streets intersection.

By car - There is a public car park car park directly below the Museum. Enter via the Stanley Street tunnel or Grey Street. The car park is pay on entry, and accepts card payment only.

You'll find more information about the museum location, with instructions on getting here by public transportation, car, and on foot on the Museum Location page.
