Fragrance Families

A fragrance family is a way to categorise and describe the main characteristics of a scent.

It's typically broken up into four main categories, with further sub-categories to describe them even deeper. Unless you're a fragrance connoisseur, it's a confusing world and I don't claim to be across the lingo (in fact some of it makes me mad).

Instead, we've tried to make it a bit easier to classify and understand the overall scents you'll find in our soaps. Our fragrances tend to be complex, so expect to find several categories relating to one type of soap. We're maximalists here!
