Our Story

Soap Cult was founded by Aliya Hutchison, a self-proclaimed "witchy woman" with a passion for natural ingredients, sustainability, and the mystical side of life. Before Soap Cult, Aliya was the founder of Sailor Mouth Soaps, a brand that was loved by many for its irreverent humour and edgy branding.

While Sailor Mouth Soaps was successful, Aliya felt that something was missing. She wanted to create products that not only reflected her passion for natural ingredients and sustainability but also celebrated the magic and mystery of life. And so, Soap Cult was born.

Soap Cult's mission is simple: to create products that are both magical and meaningful, to inspire connection to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. Our handmade soap products, altar decor, witchcraft supplies, coffin trays, and eco-friendly skincare tools are crafted with intention and care, using only the finest, ethically-sourced, cruelty-free, and vegan ingredients.

At Soap Cult, we're committed to sustainability and minimising our impact on the environment. We use eco-friendly packaging and strive to reduce waste wherever possible. We believe that small changes can make a big difference, and we're proud to be part of a movement towards a more sustainable future.

Through our products, we celebrate the art of witchcraft and alchemy, and we believe that the world is full of magic. We're proud to be part of a community of like-minded individuals who share our love of the occult and its power to transform and inspire.

Join us on this journey and experience the magic of Soap Cult. And if you're a fan of Sailor Mouth Soaps, don't worry – we still have a soft spot for irreverent humour and edgy branding. It's all part of our story, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
